Crisp White

I think everything looks so much better in the sun light! This look is a favourite of mine, the clothing is so casual and we're all more than likely to have a white shirt or top and some jeans (they don't have to be distressed) in our wardrobes so this is a super easy outfit to recreate yourself. I have styled these jeans in a more casual way before, but by adding a pair of heels and a cutch - and I'm pretty sure the sun helps too - it brings the look to life in my opinion. Let's get onto the details...

If you saw my Tomboy post you'll know that I wasn't so sure on these jeans, mostly because their fit as it's quite unflattering. They're not exactly a mom jean, but they're not skinny jeans either so they sit somewhere in between which I think can be a slightly awkward fit. But nonetheless I hadn't given up on them as I'm not quite sure on whether or not I can pull off the mom jean look (although I am eyeing up an ASOS pair) so I thought these were one step closer. I love the ripped detailing, I feel a bit silly buying jeans that are ripped as it is so easy to do yourself, I've ripped up an old pair I had lying about and didn't find it hard at all, but something about a "professionally ripped" jean just sounds more appealing and probably really silly too haha!

I added a simple white blouse as it's spring so a crisp white is always a good way to go. I don't actually own a proper white shirt. I want to find the perfect one which I can just throw on whenever; dress it up or dress it down for any occasion, but I also don't want it to be too expensive, nice white shirts are like £30+ and it just seems like so much for something so simple. The same goes for kimono's! I'm desperate to get my hands on a kimono but they're so expensive! Between £20 and £50 for a piece of fabric, because let's be honest a kimono isn't going to keep you warm or even make a difference, it just looks pretty. Please let me know in the comments below if you've seen any cheap kimono's.

After that little detour, onto the rest of the outfit. I wore these white Valentino dupe heels which are perfect for spring, I love how white appears to shine in the sun, I think it looks great and somehow more expensive. These shoes were a bargain online - right up my street! I got out my lemon clutch once again - the greatest clutch ever - it's just the perfect way to add some colour, especially in a basic look like this. I opted for these coloured sunglasses because the blue mirrored lens matches my jeans and my clutch so it's all nicely tied together I think. Finally to complete the look, gold bling (is it even acceptable to use the word "bling".. I'm not too sure).

Boohoo have a similar pair, but they're wedges and have a more shiny finish but I'll be keeping an eye out and post a link on twitter (I'm @peexo on twitter) if find more alternatives! X
