Parisian Princess

I'm so happy with the way this look turned out. It's another different look for me as I think it's a very "cute" look, but in the spring you can just about experiment with anything and everything when it comes to clothes because, well, why not? I definitely had Paris in mind when putting this look together.. breton stripes, a flowy skirt and flowers just seem perfectly Parisian to me. All that I needed was the Eiffel Tower in the background, and preferably to be in Paris too haha! Here's my Paris-inspired look...

Breton stripes are a must in every girls wardrobe; I think just about everyone owns something striped. Stripes are a simple way to add a little something extra to a look, especially if you are a monochrome lover. I have been getting a lot of inspiration from Pinterest and these flowy midi skirts have become very popular since it turned spring so I was looking to get my hands on one. I had seen many puffy ones which I wasn't quite brave enough to purchase so instead when I saw this minimal version I made it my own. It's such a pretty pastel pink too which goes with just about anything.
I could've gone two ways with this look, either gone for a chic look and added a pair of heels or a bit more of a casual look. Hm.. guess which look I went with? No prizes for guessing casual! I wore a pair of converse as they are just so comfy yet still stylish and a perfect way to dress down a look. Also, considering I had Paris in mind, I think converse was a good choice (for a day walking around the capital city a pair of heels wouldn't cut it).

I added my standard black bag - ok, I know I say this every time I post but I seriously need a change of bag! I decided to keep accessories really simple with some silver bits and added my cheap and cheerful sunglasses to complete the look.

Sunglasses - Primark || Small hoops - Portuguese jewellers || Necklace - Parfois || Rings - Primark

    1. Thank you! I know, I felt the same - I think a bodycon midi gives you such a nice shape so I love those, but with such a "flowy" one you sort of need to try harder with it but I'm happy with the outcome so I say go for it! X

  2. This outfit is so adorable. I really love the femininity of the skirt and the big dark glasses. I'd never think to wear sneakers, but only because I'm really into pointy - toe flats lately. You look spiffy, darling!
