Strawberry Nails

A quick beauty (very lazy beauty...) post today. It basically went something like this.. my nails were chipped, the village party was starting in a few hours (believe me, these village things are a big deal around here haha), I had no nail varnish to get rid of the chips and didn't have enough time to repaint my nails in a different colour so I grabbed these and thought it was about time I gave them a go! When Primark beauty launched I bought these cute nails as soon as I could because I thought they'd look great in the summer, but I've never really used press-on nails so these were just a quick fix for me.

They're relatively straight forward, you match the fake nails to your nail size and shape and then glue them on. I had read beforehand that the Primark glue was rubbish and it was, I didn't use too much as I didn't want to ruin my nails completely but by the end of the day I had lost a nail or two (not a good look). They lasted long enough for the events during the day but as soon as the first few began to fall off I took them all off, which wasn't at all hard, but I guess that isn't surprising. I'd suggest if you were to use these nails then get a separate nail glue which should undoubtedly last longer, but for £1 you can't go wrong and these were cute while they lasted!

Have you tried any press-on nails? Which do you recommend?

  3. These are a really cute design but I hate it when I lose a nail. Would definitely try them with a better glue though x

    1. Definitely, the glue hasn't put me off them because buying any other pack of nails would cost so much more. With better glue these would be so perfect! X
