Berrylicious Makeup

I'm not one to do a lot of beauty posts, I've only ever talked beauty a few times on my blog but I thought now was the time to dip into the beauty world again. Now that it's autumn I think it's the time where most of us girls begin to change our makeup and experiment a little more - that's definitely the case with me. So I thought now would be the perfect time to show you a warm autumn look I've been loving recently. If you remember My Daily Makeup post you'll notice a few of my favourites haven't changed.

For my base I used the Makeup Forever: HD foundation which I bought in Dubai, I'd heard so many good things so definitely felt like I needed it. I used the Rimmel: Wake Me Up concealer because it's been my go-to all summer and I just still haven't found a new one really, all topped off with the Rimmel: Stay Matte powder. My favourite thing is applying bronzer, I use the Bourjois: Poudre Bronzante and I absolutely love it, I have never tried any other that compared but I do want to try a different bronzer.. I just can't draw myself away from the great chocolate smelling Bourjois! I switched it up a little with a Bourjois: Blush Exclusif cream blush, I've never used one as I find it hard to apply but I thought I'd give it a go and although I think it's quite a heavy blush (probably down to me applying too much and not blending enough) I quite like the overall berry effect.

I did a little more on the eyes than I would usually, I found this Revlon: Eye & Lip highlighter in my drawers and to be honest I have no idea what it's meant to be used for as it's a pinky shade so I don't see it being a good highlighter for my skin tone so instead I used it as an all-over the lid eyeshadow and found it worked really well! I went in on the corners of my lids with a darker shade from the Urban Decay: Naked 2 palette (snakebite). I used the Maybelline: False Lash Flutter mascara on my top lashes and Maybelline: Rocket Volume mascara on my bottom lashes. I didn't put on a lot because I tend to go for the clumpy look when it comes to eyelashes and this makeup was about trying something different.

Autumn is all about warm tones and I love this dark berry lipstick, it's probably the bravest colour I own and don't get a lot of wear out of it because of that but I do love the shade. It's a super cheap Collection: lipstick I bought last year for Halloween haha! I ended up loving it way more than I thought I would so I definitely want to invest in some more berry shades.

Which drugstore lipsticks are your favourites for autumn?
