Rose Gold Sequins

Here's another, more casual, New Year's Eve themed outfit. This look was also featured in my latest YouTube video which went up earlier this week - watch it now on my channel 'peexo vlogs'

This is definitely a favourite of mine. I know that not everyone goes out for New Year's Eve, I certainly haven't done for the past couple of years so for those of you staying in or heading to a house party, some drinks, or just something a little more relaxed than a party, I think this is the perfect look to go for. I love the sequinned skirt, it's so eye-catching and looks great paired with black. I also love that it's rose gold - we all know how much I love rose gold! I opted for a pair of knee high boots and a turtle neck rather than heels and a traditionally 'pretty' top as it's more of a casual look so I think comfort (and staying warm!) is a top priority. It's funny how sometimes something I've been planning in my head for ages looks totally wrong when I try it on; but with this outfit I pulled it all out of my wardrobe in the space of a couple of minutes so I'm really surprised by how much I like the outcome.

How would you wear a sequinned mini skirt?

    1. It's just such a statement piece I didn't want to go crazy with it and I think it turned out quite well, it works as a day-to-night piece I think :) X

    1. Thank you! NYE is always about the glitz and gam but sometimes it's good to just tone things down a little; I love that this looks fun but casual at the same time too! X
