Beanie - Forever 21 // Coat (c/o) - Sheinside // Roll neck - Marks & Spencer // Jeans - Topshop // Boots - River Island via ASOS (similar) // Bag (c/o) - Marc b

A roll neck twice in one week?! I must really love it! This outfit was just so fitting for today's post as yesterday was a snow day here at university! My flatmate woke me up to say it was snowing and we simply sat at the window watching the snow fall over the cathedral, it didn't last long but it was so pretty to see the first snowfall this winter. Anyway, snow means you have to wrap up warm and this is exactly how I would do it (and did, apart from the coat - a parka was a better match yesterday).

This is such a cool, casual look and so simple to put together; just by combining some essential winter pieces you can create this simple look. You know by now how much I love to wear black jeans in the winter so no surprise that I'm wearing a pair. I've been really into the cool grey neutral kind of tones too, I've become a huge fan of this roll neck top and adding a bit of colour is something I've enjoyed doing this winter as I know most of my outfits are just black, grey or monochrome so I like to add a little bit of colour even if it's simply with a small bag or accessory like I did here.
