Reformation Vibes Minus The Price Tag

Reformation is one of those brands that I think it's safe to say most people are obsessed with at the moment, their wrap dresses are gorgeous and just the general vibe of the brand encapsulates summer. Whilst I have yet to invest in the brand myself, I have definitely been loving seeing pieces on the high street (and subsequently, snapping up said pieces) that are inspired by the brand.

You know the drill, as soon as something becomes remotely popular there are dupes popping up left, right and centre. I want to go as far as to say that Reformation saw the birth of both tea dresses and wrap dresses, two styles that have quickly filled up my wardrobe. More recently I've been seeing lots of cute wrap tops and colourful polka dot prints from the brand which of course I'm also loving.

During a personal styling session at River Island I tried on this top and instantly fell in love with it, I tried it on with some incredible pink palazzo trousers but I chickened out at the last minute and ended up only coming home with the top. This post sparked from a conversation I had with one of the stylists who commented on how this top gave off Reformation vibes which I think was enough to give me that last push and end up coming home with it. I'm a huge fan of River Island during the summer, I think they nail holiday clothing so I'll probably be sharing more bits and pieces throughout the season. I find this wrap around top is perfect for so many occasions and whatever the weather, it's great for cooler evenings but still really lightweight so you can take it away with you and wear whilst on holiday. I was desperate to share this top with you as it's limited edition and I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to style! I wanted something high waisted as it is a crop top and although these white denim culottes aren't the most high waisted, I still think the two work really well together. Then of course as a nod to summer I paired it with my straw bag from Marks & Spencer (a bargain at £15!) and tan mid-heel sandals which are also River Island, picked up at my styling session.
