Black Friday is here and it's bigger and better than ever! I'm keeping
things simple this year as I know it can be a minefield to navigate the
multiple sales, deals and discount codes available throughout the week.

Before I get into sharing some of my picks, don't feel like
you have to buy anything during Black Friday. It's only a
real 'deal' if you get something that you actually want
or need, or something that has been on your wishlist for some time. With
that in mind, I've listed my top picks from various different retailers
below (all offering Black Friday discounts) for you to peruse. Featuring
some pieces I already own and recommend, some items that I have bought
this Black Friday and others that are currently on my wishlist.
First up, coats, knitwear and boots are excellent Black Friday purchases
because they often have a higher price tag - especially when choosing
better quality - and it's still early enough in autumn/winter that you
will get plenty of wear out of these pieces between now and the summer.
Choose items that you know you will want to wear again and again, opt for
timeless classics in classic colours and fabrics (e.g. *cashmere which often has a higher price tag) rather than statement or
trend-led pieces. Also, keep an eye out for trainers too as these will
usually have good discounts throughout Black Friday.

I have to mention jewellery as I just think investing in your
jewellery collection is one of the best things you can do. It can be
expensive, especially if you're starting a collection from scratch, but
many of my favourite brands have great deals running throughout Black
Friday so what better time to share some of my picks! New makeup is another top buy - a top up of your favourites that are close to running out, a new lipstick for yourself or a gift for someone else ready for Christmas. There are some really great deals not to be missed.

Next up, I wanted to include tech and gadgets as you can get great deals across these categories. Two years ago I bought my Canon G7X Mark II camera in
the Black Friday sale for a great price; it was an Amazon Warehouse deal
- which they've launched again this year *get 20% off Amazon Warehouse products. I wanted this camera for the longest time but I waited until
Black Friday to purchase it as I wanted it to lower in price. Truth be
told, this doesn't always happen but when you get lucky and an item from
your saved list goes on sale... it's a great feeling!

Finally, let's not forget the fact that
Christmas
is right around the corner - less than one month away! This is the
best time to start on your Christmas shopping as you can get more for
less. If you want to save money on some gifts this year then take this
as the perfect opportunity to start your Christmas gift shopping
(whether it be for someone else or for yourself, it's a no judgement
