Where to even begin? June has been intense. Honestly, 2020 has been intense and to think that we're only 6 months in to the year and so much has happened already - it's a lot. But here we are, adapting to this new normal. So for today's blog post, I'm sharing my monthly favourites including fashion, beauty, books and TV. Next month I'm hoping to have a new blog design and a spruce up of my website so I'm really looking forward to sharing that with you soon! In the meantime, things will probably be a little quite over here but stay up to date with what I get up to on my Instagram @peexo.

Beauty Products I've Loved This Month

*Paradise waterproof mascara, L'Oreal - This has been my go-to mascara for months now, it's just so good! I have very straight eyelashes that don't hold a curl very well so whenever I use mascara, it needs to be waterproof to give me my desired effect. This mascara is one of my favourites, easy to find (both in store and online) and is a reasonably priced drugstore mascara.

*Backlight priming filter, Becca [pr product] - I've loved applying this under my makeup on the high points of my face including my cheekbones, bridge of the nose and cupids bow. This gives off such a lovely and natural glow under makeup which I think is perfect for summer makeup looks. Some days when I want more of a glow, I'll mix this in with my foundation and just apply it all over!

*Castor oil - I started using castor oil on my eyelashes around a month ago and I'm slowly starting to notice results. It's a natural product and really inexpensive to purchase so I'm pretty happy with it so far and will absolutely continue to use it in the future. I've been tracking the progress and I'm looking forward to seeing some more long-term results.

What I've Watched This Month

This Is Us (season 3 and 4) : I don't know how I let season 3 slip but I thought I had already watched it but as it turns out, nope - I hadn't! So this month I caught up on season 3 and watched the whole of season 4 too. This Is Us is my favourite series, it's just so good! Almost every episode is a guarantee to make my cry.
