Something I loved last season was the 70's and it was still featured on the catwalk this time around which I was pretty happy with. I think we all know about my love of the 70's style but I've never taken the full plunge - I really went for it with this outfit and I think it's mostly because I saw it's here to stay for at least another season.
I've never tried layering a long sleeved top under a sleeveless garment so I gave it a go and I surprised myself by how much I liked it! Although I don't think I'll gravitate towards this style on a daily basis, I've always said this is like my personal style journey, trying new styles and experimenting with clothes. To achieve the ultimate 70's vibe I chose a cream roll neck and perspex heeled boots which I think are what makes this scream the 70's, you can easily swap these for some darker colours to make it more wearable if you're not into colour. I'm wearing a suede dress from the SS16 range at Madam Rage which features last summer's favourite lace up front and will be a perfect dress once it begins to get warmer. Finally, the new bag of my dreams which I hope you're prepared to see lots more of!
