Belle of the Ball

For this Sunday's post I decided on a lifestyle post. I wanted to do a post about my jewellery and what I like to wear in the spring etc. but I simply don't have the time to take many miscellanious photos at the moment because, unlike every other university, I have only just started my final term and my exams begin next week! So I need to focus on revision so my blog needs to take a bit of a back seat. But I do pride myself in what I post so I'm trying to keep it as relevant as possible! Starting in June I have a really exciting new idea for my Sunday posts which I hope you will enjoy!
If you follow me on Instagram (@peexo) you'll have seen a few photos from my weekend away in Birmingham. I work with a logistics company, Thistle Couriers Ltd., I'm their "social media person" and a group of logistics companies come together every year for an annual ball; I was kindly invited to go along too. I've never had a prom because my secondary school and sixth form were both all girl schools! So I was more than excited to find myself a prom dress and I used this as my opportunity to live out that final year prom I never had!
Among all the business talk we did have a good time, it was a great evening with an interesting band but that didn't stop us from having a good old sing-a-long! Hugh Dennis presented the awards and it was great to see him live, we got some seriously cool multi coloured Ferrero Roche's which made up the centre piece of the tables which I thought was super cute and different. This is quite a photo heavy post but if any of you are as nosey as I am then I hope you like this little insight into my weekend away.

Were you lucky enough to have a prom, or are you preparing for one?

    1. Thank you :) I feel your pain! Before this came along I was definitely planning on a prom-themed 21st birthday, but then this happened and I also realised I will be in France on my year abroad! I guess that wasn't going to work out after all... X
