Tomboy

I'm not too keen on how these photos turned out, I kept going through them and wondering why I look so awkward! It's really frustrating, I've become more relaxed when it comes to standing in the streets and posing for photographs while other people go about their daily lives and the builders look at me and think "who are you" haha, awkward! But these just came out slightly too awkward-looking but I like the outfit so I'm rolling with the few pictures that turned out alright. Here goes...

I kept it simple with this slouchy speckled grey T-shirt which I love, it's perfect for a lazy day, and these jeans are a new addition to my wardrobe. The rips are really large and the jeans are a boyfriend/mom jean fit which I'm not too keen on as I don't think they're very flattering for my figure but I styled them up anyway. I love the bottom of these, the stars and stripes are so cool! This is a super simple look and I'm not opposed to toning down my style and opting for something a little more casual but this really is a tomboy look in my books.

I'm a typical girly girl so this is out of my comfort zone as I don't really know to typically pose and "make it my own" in a sense. I wore converse as I was going for a complete laid back look, I grabbed this slouchy beige bag from Parfois because it's nice to add a lighter colour into a look, especially now that it's spring. I grabbed my fedora because it makes me feel a little more girly.I then added jewellery to make this outfit slightly more girly.

I'm currently looking for a chunky silver watch but I don't want to spend too much money on one; I have a rose gold Michael Kors and a gold GUESS watch but I don't think I can justify another expensive addition... although if it's in silver... the shopaholic in me is taking over! But for now I haven't yet given in so I have this super casual white, but actually grey, casio. I added a necklace and the obligatory hoop earrings along with a bunch of rings.

    1. I'm still unsure about them... I think mom jeans are pretty hard to style but the high waisted version somehow look a bit nicer and easier to style, so I want to give a pair of those a try! X

  2. I love your hat so much! I think they look great but I am too nervous to buy one for myself. I know I would never wear it because I don't have the confidence when it comes to hats! x

    1. I was the same! Just thought I'd look so silly wearing one but as soon as I braved it and got up a post the feedback was fab and now I wear it whenever can - just go for it! Get a cheaper one at first if you're not too sure and then you might become a hat convert haha! X

    1. I love details like that! I usually turn my sleeves over my jacket sleeves etc so I thought that was such a cool addition to the jeans :) X
