Handmade Burger Co.

Are you drooling yet? I know, I know, a food post early lunch time probably isn't ideal but I have to share these delicious burgers with you! Not only do they look amazing (despite me only having my iPhone to take photos) believe me, they tasted just as good...

If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you'll know that during the week I went to visit my best friend in Wolverhampton and on Thursday we went to Birmingham (a 15-20 minute train journey away) to indulge in some serious retail therapy. Shopping can really tire a girl out, so of course we had to get a bite to eat and we decided to try Handmade Burger Co. We weren't left disappointed.

The restaurant itself had a really nice rustic feel to it, it's very natural looking and overall a really great atmosphere. There were even bags of potatoes under the stairs (whether there were real potatoes inside or not I don't know haha). It almost makes you feel like you're in a barn and I'm guessing that has a lot to do with the name "handmade" it all looks really natural.

Onto the important part, the food! I had the cheese and bacon beef burger and Stephanie opted for the ceaser chicken burger with extra cheese. For sides we had some halloumi and veg skewers with a garlic mayo dip, fresh cut chips and onion rings. But there are a huge range of burgers to try, there's something for everybody.

I also included a shameless Instagram selfie as a lot of people complimented me on my jumper! As soon as I saw it I thought to myself: I need this in my life! It captures the sports luxe trend and spring pastels, it's a gorgeous lilac colour. The jumper is from Missguided which you can find here and jeans are Topshop, here.

We absolutely loved it and spent the rest of our day raving about how great lunch had been; it was enough fuel to last us 6 hours in the Bullring (the shopping centre). The downfall? Why isn't there one in London!?

What's your favourite burger restaurant? Leave me any comments below :)

  11. I absolutely LOVE Handmade Burger co.! I don't even eat meat but their veggie burger menu is SO GOOD and I love that they have so many different options and they're all so tasty.
I actually used to work in the Bullring so I used to go shopping there quite often. I love the massive Forever 21 they have there and I used to spend most of my lunch breaks mooching around Topshop and H&M!

    1. I'm still getting over the fact there isn't one close to me :'( When my friend told me the Bullring was bigger than Westfield London I was like :O I don't think I could work in a huge shopping centre! The temptation to spend all my money before, during and after word would be far too high! X

    1. I thought it was very cricket player chic - apart from the fact it's lilac of course. I had a look through the Missguided website and they have a monochrome version, I'm tempted! X
