Clutch Collection

As usual, my Sunday posts are always a little different, at least I try to make them different, I try to delve into the beauty and lifestyle world but I either don't photograph enough content for a lifestyle post or, when it comes to beauty, I just don't feel as experienced as other bloggers. Although my daily makeup post, here, went down a treat - so if you'd like to see more beauty posts let me know! Today I thought I'd show you the clutches that I have, where they're from, why I like them etc. I hope you like the post! Let's get started...

I've been so into clutches now that it's turned into spring. I think they're a nice alternative to big bulky bags, although sometimes you do need a big bag to keep all your stuff, but for a night out or during the weekend a clutch is really all you need. I have a number of different clutches in my wardrobe.. maybe even too many, but I think they're a really cool way to dress up any outfit. Like I've said before in some of my outfit posts - as soon as you add a pair of heels and a clutch you're ready to head out for the night.

I love a patterned clutch, as you can probably tell, it's a great way to add a little something extra to a plain look. I find that on a night out I tend to stick to dark colours like black, and usually plain clothing so a vibrant clutch really adds something to the full look. But you always need a plain clutch too for those times you go crazy with a print or just want to keep the whole look toned down - for that reason I have a few plain clutches too - the colours I have are black, blue and pink. Black is a must because it will never go out of fashion, some bright colours are perfect for the spring and to add a pop of colour without being too overpowering with a print.

My favourite one has to be the lemon clutch from River Island, it's such a vibrant piece I would pair it with everything if I could! It really is the perfect clutch. All of my clutches are reasonably sized, they're not to small so as to fit a phone, small makeup bag, purse, oyster card (bus/train ticket) and whatever else you normally have in your bag/clutch. I feel like a lot of times I begin to ramble and probably don't make any sense at all.. but I hope you find what I'm saying interesting.

And a little extra point - do you notice anything in particular about these photos.. maybe in terms of the quality!? If you follow me on Instagram, Twitter or Facebook you'll already know, but if not, wait for my next post (on Tuesday) for some info on that!

    1. Thanks! I've seen those and contemplated whether or not to get them to match but I decided not to as I'm not an avid heel wearer but it's a good option if you're more into heels other than bags! X
