Pretty in Pink

So of course my first outfit of the week had to feature my pink coat! After posting my guide to the perfect leather jacket on Sunday I found out that the leather jacket has already sold out online which is crazy, so if you have a store near you have a look in store and you might be lucky. Anyway, with a pink jacket it can be quite hard to style, you don't want to have a colour overload. So here's how I styled my pink jacket...

I think the easiest colours to go for to compliment a pastel pink jacket are the neutrals: creams and whites as well as black of course. I went for this cropped beige jumper, it's ribbed and quite a warm jumper but the weather has been so weird lately that it has been a bit cold. As far as I'm concerned if it's cropped it doesn't really count as a winter piece haha. I love this jumper because the sleeves are quite long so I've had to fold them over but I really like the way it looks, it's a nice little touch.

I went for a pair of high waisted jeans in black - I have a dark denim pair too but I just don't seem to get enough use out of them for some reason, I always go back to black, although the colour on these is already fading *sob*. Both of my Joni jeans are too short in length. It's so annoying, they're the usual length I buy but for some reason too short so I roll them up pretending that's the desired effect even though it isn't. So I rolled them up and went for my favourite black boots.

Accessory wise I went for silver because a lot of the detailing on my boots, bag and leather jacket are silver. I found this cute clutch bag in Primark which I really like! I love leopard print, so I use any excuse to incorporate the print in my looks. I really want to get my hands on a pair of leopard print heels but haven't found the right print (which must sound weird but I find some leopard print looks tacky - it needs to be done right).
