Winter's Over

Check out the quality of these outfit photos! I am over the moon - I got a brand new spankin' camera on Friday (which you'll definitely know already if you follow me on Instagram or Twitter haha). The camera was delivered early Friday morning, and at around 11am my friend and I were already taking blog photos! Let me know if you notice a difference between my previous photos and these ones: before I used my friend's Canon EOS 400D and now I'll be using my own Canon EOS 700D. Enough technical nonsense, I don't even know anything when it comes to technology haha, I just know that these photos come out amazing and I am in love! Onto the look...

I really wanted to blog these jeggings that I got a while back now but never had the chance to - as soon as it turned into spring, and I was able to wear skirts and shorts, I jumped at the opportunity; but then reality kicked in.. I live in London and the weather is still going to be crap. I didn't know whether or not to upload this look as it is very dark and more of a winter look but I really like it so thought I'd still blog it, even though it's spring. I'm not wearing a jacket so I think that makes it more acceptable for spring haha!

My whole look is pretty basic, all black (how creative) but the trousers have a gorgeous leaf print which stands out because of the velvet. I added my burgundy fedora which I love for a bit of colour. Although, it's burgundy, so more of a warm colour than a spring/summer bright. My top is a basic fisherman cropped top so let's put it this way, it's not a winter-appropriate top that's for sure!

I added gold accessories: the usual arm candy, a few rings and a gorgeous pair of drop earrings in pink tones which I think go beautifully with the hat and the lipstick I was wearing. I wore my black heeled boots and favourite black bag. Now that it's spring I'm thinking of changing to a coloured everyday bag, instead of my black one, because it's spring and I feel I should make the most of it! Would you be interested in a "what's in my bag" spring/summer edition or something? If so, let me know in the comments below.

What do you think of this look? Would you save it for winter or wear it in the spring?
Leave me any comments below :)
