Colour Burst

Last week I went along to the Fashionseeker press launch with Maria (Maria Marmite) which was pretty exciting as it was my first press launch and it's always fun to find out about new prospects and emerging companies in the fashion industry. As the days are much longer now and the sun seems to be shining more and more, Maria and I decided to stop and take a few outfit photos in a pretty little park. Here's what I wore...

I really struggle to find playsuits and jumpsuits because I'm quite tall; I have quite a long torso which makes it hard to find any that fit - I'm still on the hunt for the perfect jumpsuit but the tall options in most shops are so boring! I think it's a little unfair how petite girls have so much more available to them than us tall girls *boo*. But anyway, this is an oldie I found last summer in Miss Selfridge and it's the only one that fits me. I love the flared shorts, I think they really stand out and the heart print is so subtle but still cute.

I unintentionally dressed in grey and black so I felt like I needed to add some colour to my outfit, and what better than my gorgeous orange bag? Still can't believe I bought it in Primark! I have a feeling it's going to be a major summer staple for me. I added silver jewellery to this look. I was recently sent a beautiful ring from Nowseen.com, I'm in love with their wild and wonderful collection so I chose this chunky monkey ring as it's a great staple piece. I've been constantly wearing it! My beautiful bracelet was also gifted to me from Monica Vinader - it's stunning.

Photos taken by Maria from Maria Marmite.

The lighting in my photos changes here which really annoyed me while editing as I just couldn't get the photos to look similar to the full outfit ones, seriously annoying! I hope you don't mind, at least the bag and my accessories really stand out!

How do you add a burst of colour to your look?

    1. Completely agree! It's the perfect colour to style in the winter as a neon playsuit would look pretty odd with black tights haha! X
