My First Time...

Blazer - H&M || Dress (c/o) - Miss Tempted || Heels - Primark || Bag - Pull & Bear

Who doesn't love monochrome in the autumn? Or, what am I saying, in the Autumn, Winter, Spring and Summer haha! I love this little ensemble, I think it's such a simple look to put together even if you're in a rush! A blazer is the easiest way to smarten up any look in my opinion: paired with some jeans, a skirt or a dress and it instantly smartens up the whole outfit. With a pair of chunky heeled boots this makes a perfect smart/casual look, but add some heels like I did for this look and you're ready to hit the town! If you watched my Primark haul on YouTube I'm pretty sure you'll have realised just how much I love leopard print so this dress was a different take on the traditional leopard print in terms of the colour.

Skater dresses are probably my favourite type of dress because they're so easy to wear and I think they look good on any shape or size. The only downside is when the wind picks up you're not safe! A little bag clutch bag is perfect for a night out, this one is perfect because it has the over the shoulder strap to make sure you don't end up losing your bag half way through the night. I added some silver bits of jewellery, because I believe an outfit is never complete without the addition of rings and a statement watch of course!

I'm also wearing hair extensions in this look! Did you notice? It's my first time wearing any sort of hair extensions and I think these blend gorgeously with my natural hair - the colour match is perfect; I got sent some luscious locks from Hairtrade and couldn't wait to give them a go. I thought they'd look great with this outfit as it's a bit more of a 'going out' kind of look. I was wearing the shade dark brown in 18". As my hair is pretty long at the moment, they were simply perfect for adding some extra volume. I was so surprised by how easy these clip-ins were to put in - although it did take me a while to figure out how it was done as they didn't come with any instructions or leaflets and for a complete newbie to hair extensions I was a little confused to say the least - but once in place they didn't feel heavy on my head.

What do you wear on a night out?

    1. I was so pleasantly surprised! I really thought it would be obvious where I had clipped them in but it wasn't at all; I just back combed my hair a little at the roots to make it all look a little messier and it blended in really nicely! X
