I'll be doing a very mini festival outfit guide, only 2 looks in total, this mini edit was completely unplanned as I haven't been, nor am I going, to any festivals this year so I couldn't really relate and I wasn't prepared to spend money on creating some festival looks when I'd be staying at home haha. Instead I posted some holiday posts: my Lanzarote Lookbook, but when I was contacted last week and asked whether I'd like to do a festival piece I thought why not just put together some last minute festival looks. I hope you like them, they're perfect for those of you who have had a festival come up last minute or can't go out to buy new pieces. Here's look #1...
I attempt to embrace some more colour into my wardrobe during the summer months but clearly didn't bother with this look, all black it is (festivals can get a little messy so maybe black is a good thing!). We're half way through this summers' festivals; I can't help but envy everybody soaking up the sun and enjoying the festivals the UK has to offer, I also envy those who are able to go abroad and experience the festival atmosphere in another country *boo* maybe I'll go next year? For now, I'm just dreaming of going. This is such a simple look that anybody can put together with some basic pieces, and by adding a kimono for that festival feeling.

Before I went on holiday I mentioned my dilemma trying to find a kimono that wouldn't break the bank, and I ended up buying one on ebay for my holiday to Lanzarote, but imagine my surprise when I got back and opened some blogger mail to find this little beauty from the lovely people at Quiz. I love the vibrant florals on this kimono and the tassels! I really love the tassels. I went for my peach slip ons which are so comfy and still so stylish. They also go nicely with the florals on the kimono. As I ended up going for a festival vibe I didn't opt for a bag as most of mine would look wrong with this outfit. A backpack would probably be the most suited in my opinion, but I don't own one haha. I kept jewellery minimal, me not wearing a watch? Shock horror. My sunnies are ebay, and the best bit... they're for kids haha!
